Fonds consists of personal and business records created and received by Thomas Patrick Murray.
The records related to the Murray Brothers Lumber Company and to Murray's political career. Records include correspondence, accounts, inventories and poetry. Fonds also includes a photocopy of hand-written notes of Murray's recollections of life in Renfrew County, as well as of his political career. The interviews were conducted in 1980 by Murray's grandson, Sean Conway, MPP.
Thomas Patrick Murray (b. 1880) was the president of Murray Brothers Lumber Company near Barry's Bay, Ontario and was a Liberal Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Renfrew South from 1929-1945.
