Scope and Content

Film is a fictional story about a teenaged woman named Vanessa who returns to her Yorkville home to find that her parents are at a cocktail party and her sister is being babysat by someone who isn't what "she" seems. The cast includes babysitter: Jim Evans; Vanessa: Lesley Ansell; Mother: Orde Tuff; Father: Ron Russell; stranger: Harry Francis. Cinematography by Jack Ruddell, produced by John Ngai, and written and directed by Harry Francis. Lighting by Len Mitchell.

The Toronto Movie Club : Its first fifty years, 1934-1984 p. 46, provides additional details about this film. It won the 1971 SCCA (Society of Canadian Cine Amateurs) Film Competition Garlick Trophy and the PSA (Photographic Society of America) Best Club Film Award.
