Files consist of oral history records documenting the life and career of William Parker (b.1914), a lawyer who was appointed to the Supreme Court of Ontario in 1961, later becoming Associate Chief Justice in 1977, and the Chief Justice of the Criminal Trial Division in 1985. Interview topics include: articling; Osgoode Hall Law School; Junior, Bowlby; World War II; Partner, Bowlby & Parker; professional associations; Justice, Supreme Court of Ontario; opinions on select judges; opinion on Chart of Rights and Freedoms; Associate Chief Justice; Chief Justice, Trial Division.
