Scope and Content

Files consist of oral history records documenting the life and career of Jack Belobradic (b. 1929), a Toronto- area lawyer and Ontario Provincial Court Judge. Interview topics include: Port Arthur; University of Manitoba; Osgoode Hall Law School; articling; early practice; appointment as Provincial Court Judge; select Justices; select cases; Young Offenders Act; move to Etobicoke. Interview conducted by Christine J.N. Kates. File includes five audio cassette recordings from a series of two interviews, a transcript with index (191 p.), and two photographs of J. Belobradic.
