File consists of oral history records documenting the life and career of lawyer Clifford Lax (b. 1944). He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1982. This interview concerns his personal and professional history and his involvement with the Advocates' Society. More specifically, interview topics include: presidents and presidency; Campbell House; educational programmes, The Advocates’ Society Institute; Civil Litigation Review Taskforce; conferences and Osgoode robbing room, among others. File includes six audio cassette recordings and a transcript with index (195 p.).
