File consists of oral history records documenting the life and career of Noel Ogilvie (b. 1920), a lawyer who became a Lay Bencher for the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1974. Interview topics include: World War II; construction business; becoming a Lay Bencher; early work as Lay Bencher; discipline committee; treasurers of Law Society of Upper Canada; changes in Law Society, 1974-1987. Interview conducted by Christine J.N. Kates. File includes three audio cassette recordings, a transcript with index (107 p.), and a convocation address for the Law Society of Upper Canada (18 p.).
