File consists of oral history records documenting the life and career of Jean Boyd (b. 1936), a former Metro Toronto Police officer who joined the force in 1963. Interview topics include: move from Scotland to Canada; requirements to join police force; training; use of women on the force; Women's Bureau, 1963-1965; 56 Division, 1965-1966; Youth Bureau; Public Complaints Bureau. Interview conducted by Christine J.N. Kates. File includes two audio cassette recordings and a transcript with index (81 p.).
