Scope and Content

File consists of oral history records documenting the life and career of Mark Mendelson (b. 1957), who became a Toronto police office in the late 1970s. Interview topics include: minorities in Metro Toronto Police Force; police training; 55 Division; morality squad; 13 Division; Zundel case; 53 Division. Interview conducted by Christine J.N. Kates. File includes three audio cassette recordings, a transcript (95 p.), and a copy one item of correspondence outlining how the oral history would be preserved and accessed through the Osgoode Society Oral History Programme.
