RG 18-214 Records of the Ipperwash Inquiry
Sub-series consists of the public website of the Ipperwash Inquiry; both English and French language versions are included.
The site includes information about the purpose and operations of the Commission and biographical information on Commission staff. The site also includes a wide range of documents made available to the public during the course of the Inquiry. Published records include transcripts of the Part I hearings, reports of commissioned research and projects associated with Part II of the Inquiry, Closing and Reply Submissions of parties with standing, Commissioner's Rulings on administrative and procedural matters, discussion papers and notes on stakeholder meetings relating to those papers, media releases, and the final report of the Inquiry. Embedded publications are in English only.
The website contains digitized copies of a wide variety of records from the Inquiry. The original records are held in a number of other sub-series, including: hearings transcripts (hardcopy originals in RG 18-214-1), Closing and Reply Submissions (hardcopy originals in RG 18-214-3), administrative and procedural rulings of the Commissioner (hardcopy originals in RG 18-214-4), research and project reports (hardcopy originals in RG 18-214-2), and discussion papers and notes on stakeholder meetings relating to those papers (hardcopy originals in RG 18-214-3).
The website also includes a digital copy of the final report of the Inquiry. A print copy of the report may be accessed through the Archives of Ontario library.
