Notes

Title is based on the content of the fonds.

A new arrangement structure was devised to amalgamate two former distinct arrangement structures. This new structure was designed to outline the structure of J.R. Kidd's overall professional life. For the most part, all former sections and sub-sections of the former arrangement schema were kept intact in the new arrangement structure (i.e., distinct sequences of files were not re-organized). However, the former Series A-II, which was documented to have been an artificial construction by the archivist in the original inventory, and Series 2, which did not seem to have any organization except by type of file (i.e., alphabetical subject files), were divided and re-organized among many of the new series and sub-series divisions. Also, some mis-identification and mis-filing evident in the former arrangement structures were rectified (i.e., particularly with respect to files being out of place in the former Series B and its various sub-series).

Some text is in French, Spanish, German, [Russian?], Hindi and Japanese.
