Scope and Content

Series consists of index volumes to two groups of records: Series RG 22-409 (Court of Chancery equity city suits case files) for the 1873-1899 period; and Series RG 22-5800 (Supreme Court Central Office action files) for the period after 1899.

Each volume is arranged alphabetically by the first letter of the plaintiff's surname (for 1976 only, by defendant) or corporate name and then numerically by docket number. In some volumes, there are also indexed entries under the name of the defendants.

Restrictions on Access
Access to the original material is closed if the material is available on microfilm. Access to all other materials is not restricted.
