Series consists of four albums of photographs taken by Agricultural Representatives stationed throughout Ontario.
The albums include photographs of school and local fairs, farming practices, Agricultural Representative demonstrations, livestock, exhibitions, crops, and a variety of other farm and rural scenes.
The counties documented are: Algoma, Brant, Bruce, Carelton, Cochrane, Dufferin, Dundas, Durham, Elgin, Essex, Fort William, Frontenac, Glengarry, Grenville, Grey, Haldimand, Halton, Hastings, Huron, Kenora, Kent, Lambton, Lanark, Lennox & Addington, Lincoln, Manitoulin, Middlesex, Muskoka, Nipissing, Norfolk, Northumberland, Ontario, Oxford, Peel, Perth, Peterboro, Port Arthur, Prescott & Russell, Prince Edward, Rainy River, Renfrew, Russell, Simcoe, North and South, Temiskaming, Thunder Bay, Victoria, Waterloo, Welland, Wellington, Wentworth and York.
The photographs are arranged randomly in the 4 albums.
Three of the photograph albums in this series were donated to the Ontario Agricultural Museum by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. These albums were subsequently donated to the Archives of Ontario in 1999. The fourth album was transferred to the Archives directly from the Communications Branch of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
