Scope and Content

Series consists of lists of immigrants who received the Ontario refund bonus of six dollars per adult upon three months residence in the province.

The lists can record the following information: name of the emigrant(s); original addresses; nationality; amount of refund bonus; date of arrival; and name of steamship.

The lists are arrange chronologically and then alphabetically by the name of the emigrant.
