Scope and Content

Fonds consists of the official copy book of the President's Office, Volume 21, 1814-1815. The letters were mostly signed by Drummond's secretary, Robert R. Loring, and pertain to the administration of Upper Canada. Correspondents are various Upper Canadian office holders and politicians such as: John McGill, T.B. Robinson, the Speaker of the Legislative Council of Lower Canada, Thomas Ridout, John Small, D'Arcy Boulton, and Robert Addison.

Sir Gordon Drummond (1772-1854) was an army officer and colonial administrator in Canada.
