Series consists of records created by officers of the Club Italia Lodge of the Order Sons of Italy of Canada in the administration of membership and other lodge activities.
These records document the following functions of the lodge: local-level administration of membership in the Order Sons of Italy and the Mutual Benefit Society; administration of lodge finances including payment of dues; organization of and participation in conventions, special events and meetings; participation in charitable activities; advocacy for the Italian-Canadian community, and regulatory activities, such as the creation and amendment of the constitution and bylaws.
Series has been arranged into categorical groupings by record type. These categories are: correspondence (1957-1979), financial records (1951), membership lists (1940-1979), membership admission forms (1941-1979), insurance records (1934-1970), pamphlets (1969), and ephemera (1989).

Although the Club Italia Lodge was not established until the late 1970's, this series contains records dating back to 1934. These earlier records represent the Guglielmo Marconi Lodge, which is considered Club Italia's predecessor lodge.
Series was arranged into sub-groupings under a previous custodian; in this arrangement, the term "ephemera" was employed to refer to all miscellaneous items in a series.
