Scope and Content

Collection consists of: legal papers of James, Mary Eliza and Robert David Rogers concerning land in Otonabee Township, Peterborough County; legal documents of Henry Cassaday, a Kingston barrister and husband of Mary Eliza Rogers; newspaper clippings concerning the career and death of Sir John Schultz, Lieutenant- Governor of Manitoba; sketches of ships built in the Kingston naval yard, and of the Kemp family crest; and photographs of politicians, including Sir John A. Macdonald, Sir John Schultz and the Hon. M. S. Bidwell.
