Fonds consists of records created and accumulated by William Cochrane.
Records include correspondence and diaries that recount his daily activities in Paisley, Scotland, school activities in the United States, and his religious life in Brantford, Ontario. Also included are Cochrane's notebooks that contain prose writing, speeches, and reports.
Fonds also contains the journal of T. Edmondson of Brantford, Ontario, which consists of reminiscences of immigration to Canada, life on his farm near Brantford, as well as prose and poetry writings.
The Rev. William Cochrane (1831-1898) was a Presbyterian clergyman and author in Brantford, Ontario.
