Scope and Content

Series consists of correspondence pertaining to the consultation, co-ordination and implementation of citizenship education programs provided by the Ontario government to new Canadians living in Ontario.

Records include incoming and outgoing correspondence, as well as memoranda, reports and other communications among branch and Ministry officials, community organizations, boards of education, community colleges, regional services, other ministries, and other levels of government.

The VHS videocassettes consist of television spots concerning "Ontario's Promise" (2001) that promoting volunteer programs assisting children and youth. Also included is a report aired on CITY TV / City Pulse titled Ready Set Go.
