Fonds contains maps, reports, correspondence and primary research materials pertaining to environmental projects undertaken by Anthony Usher Planning Consultant as well as records relating to speaking engagements and conference sessions led or facilitated by Anthony Usher. Fonds also contains some records pertaining to projects with which Anthony Usher was involved prior to the formation of his own practice in 1984.
Records document land use planning studies, guidelines and proposals for parks, watersheds, residential developments, fisheries, marinas, beaches and lake systems. Files also document activities such as development feasibility analyses, environmental assessments, provision of expert testimony, natural heritage planning and program evaluation, and the participation of communities in regional and local planning.
