Scope and Content

Fonds consists of the political records, created or used by Ontario premier, Frank Miller or his staff in his Muskoka, Queen's Park, ministerial and premier's offices, 1975-1987. The fonds relates exclusively to political matters, predominantly to the Miller's Muskoka District Office. Some records pertaining to the political and constitutional circumstances of the Miller government are also included.

Fonds is arranged into the following 14 series: Premier's Political Correspondence; Scheduling Files; Correspondence Files; Workers Compensation Board Files; Day-Timers; 1985 Election Campaign Records; Riding Correspondence; Executive Council Matters Files; Principle Secretary and Executive Director's Correspondence Files; Scheduling Files; Leadership Campaign Files; Riding Correspondence; Constituency Files; Premier's Files.

Fonds also contains eight photographs of Frank Miller while he was an M.P.P.

Frank Stuart Miller (1927-2000) was a Progressive Conservative politician who became Premier of Ontario in 1985.

Custodial History

Fonds was acquired by the Archives of Ontario in 1987 and 1992 from Frank Miller. The 1992 donation consisted of records found in the basement of the provincial offices, the Frost Building South, Toronto, Ontario.
