Series C 233-2-6
C 233-2 War posters
Sub-series consists of war posters created by the Citizens' Union Committee, a group who supported the Union Government formed by Prime Minister Borden in 1917 and its passing of the Military Service Act, which was established to address the "conscription crisis of 1917". Quebec was strongly opposed to conscription, and the posters in this sub-series reflect the Citizens' Union Committee's strong views on this opposition.
