Fonds consists primarily of correspondence acquired by Leslie Frost while he was Premier.
Correspondence pertains to Frost and his constituents, Cabinet activities, Party leadership, an investigation into the Department of Highways, and various government ministry matters, in addition to some family correspondence. As well, several federal debates and proceedings are included, dated 1886-1887.
Leslie Frost (1895-1973) was a Progressive Conservative Premier of Ontario between 1949 and 1961.

Fonds was donated to the Archives of Ontario in 1996 by Mrs. Sybil Montgomery of Toronto, Ontario.
The material had been in the Frost family's cottage, and had been entrusted by Leslie Frost to the care of Malcolm Montgomery, the donor's husband.
